Stephen has 30 years experience as an international education specialist.
From 2010 to 2013 he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International and Development) and Vice President at RMIT University. Prior to joining RMIT he spent five years at Swinburne University of Technology as Pro Vice Chancellor (International) and later Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development and Engagement). Between 1997 and 2004 he worked at La Trobe University initially as Director of International Marketing and then Director of the International Programs Office. At Swinburne and RMIT Stephen was a board member of each university’s offshore campus, Swinburne Sarawak and RMIT Vietnam, as well as a member of the boards of Swinburne Student Amenities Association and RMIT Training. He has a background in English Language Teaching and was an accredited IELTS examiner from 1991 to 1996.
Stephen was President of the International Education Association Australia from 2008 to 2012 and a board member since 2005. He studied at the University of Cologne in Germany in the 1980s and worked in Malaysia from 1992 to 1996 as Academic Director of RMIT’s twinning programs at Metropolitan College.
Stephen received the IEAA Distinguished Contribution Award at the 2016 Australian International Education Conference.

Sandra has 25 years experience as a lecturer, curriculum developer and researcher.
Sandra has developed and taught courses in the field of work integrated learning both at undergraduate and postgraduate level at RMIT since 1996. Her teaching focuses on helping students prepare themselves for life as graduates, incorporating real world professional and work challenges into the classroom, earning her teaching awards in 1999, 2002 and 2013. Sandra’s work has also included course development and teaching at RMIT Vietnam and in RMIT’s programs taught at the Singapore Institute of Management.
From 1993 to 1996 Sandra taught RMIT’s Professional Skills Program at Metropolitan College, Malaysia, and coordinated work placements for students across Peninsula and East Malaysia. Prior to living in Malaysia Sandra spent five years at NCR in account management, marketing and administration roles.
Sandra also volunteered as an education and employment counsellor for five years at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Melbourne's inner west.
